And for good measure they're now posting personal data on a public website, big data breach. The morons could've just sent the item to keep the sale, but instead chose to lose the sale, manufacture costs and labour, all in an attempt to enforce their £15 scam.
It should be noted that the seller tried to contest this refund, at every stage. Update: Paypal found the seller to have acted improperly by holding the product, refusing to dispatch it and refusing to refund it. Essentially they're probably a fine company if you don't mind paying over the odds for poor quality and service and don't complain afterwards, but they seem to be utterly unwilling to work with anyone to resolve any issues, hiding behind protections given to custom made products. Their reply to me is a bare-faced lie, so I suspect their replies to all the 1star reviews may well be too. If you want to take the gamble with these cowboys then make sure you either pay with Paypal, or a Credit Card so you're at least in a position to reverse the charges when they try a fast one. Ultimately I was left in a situation where Easyframe were refusing to dispatch the item and also refusing to refund it. Easyframe then refused to dispatch unless a fine of £15 was paid to cover their "costs" of "changing" the address. Records show they had the correct address. Easyframe failed to deliver an order claiming incorrect address. I have more frames to order in the future when I nail exactly what I need and I will definitely be ordering from Easyframe.Įasyframe is more interested in attempting to provide the legal minimum it can get away with, rather than a good service. Either way, I highly recommend them, but looking at a couple of other reviews as well as my own mistake, I advise you to make sure you've worked out what you need before you order! You can't blame them for your own mix ups. If not though, I'll definitely be going back to Easyframe with my new requirements and a new order! Completely my fault for not researching and just rushing to order, which is always my problem - but I may have a superb conservation frame for sale if I have to order a new one from them. I'm now hoping that the spacers I ordered afterwards from a specialist manufacturer might solve the problem. Easyframe? Easymoney more like - I would not recommend ever using this company - poor quality, misleading communication, terrible customer service. I declined the offer of being ripped off once again and found a company that supplied a lovey high quality image at less then the price Easyframe wanted for just their cheepest frame. On delivery I was extremely upset and disappointed to see they had sent a low grade rolled up "photo copy" quality image on low grade shiny paper without a frame - I called to address this problem and the sales man on the phone said I would have to pay a further £22 + Vat + £5 delivery (totalling almost £50 inc the rubbish photo) for their cheapest frame to then have to fit it myself. Ordered a Framed Print of my recently deceased Dog to remember him by - Easy Frame charge me almost £20 to supply this. I only gave them one star as it would not let me give them none.
